The 2026 Oceania Sport AGM was held in Papeete, Tahiti on Tuesday 4 August, coinciding with the Pacific Games Council Assembly and related workshops.
It was a successful week of collaboration, conversation, and action to support a bright future for sport across the Pacific.
“On behalf of the Oceania Sport Executive, thank you to everyone who joined us in Tahiti or attended our AGM online,” Secretary General Chet Gray said. “It was fantastic to have the chance to discuss our constitutional changes, seek clarification, and work together to benefit the whole of sport in the region. We look forward to another big year of supporting sport development and initiatives across Oceania.”
During the Oceania Sport AGM, members heard from President Yvonne Mullins, ONOC President Baklai Temengil, and the Pacific Games Council.
Edwina Ricci provided an update on the Wellbeing Project, while Helen Smith presented the Oceania Sport Strategic Plan for 2026-2032.
Regan Kama presented the ONOC Education Commission Report as the regional collaboration continues, which you can read more about HERE.
