OSFO (the Organisation of Sports Federations of Oceania) has unveiled a name change to Oceania Sport.
The new name is intended to:
• Clearly describe the organisation’s role in sport across the Oceania region.
• Provide greater recognition and understanding among stakeholders and partners.
• Strengthen our identity and ensure consistency with our strategic direction.
The name change proposal came about following the 2025 AGM in Guam and recommendations from strategic working group discussions. By renaming OSFO to Oceania Sport, we can provide a clearer and more meaningful identity that better reflects the purpose and role of the organisation.
