ITTF-Oceania are pleased to announce that the ITTF-Oceania President, Mr. Anthony Moore, was elected as an ITTF Executive Vice President at the continuation of the 2025 ITTF AGM, which was held online on Saturday 15 November. Anthony is an internationally renowned and respected sports administrator whose skills, knowledge and experience garnered sufficient support to be elected in the first round of voting.
Anthony will serve on the ITTF Executive Board under the leadership of ITTF President Ms. Petra Sörling for the 2025-2029 period. Anthony joins seven other ITTF Executive Vice Presidents elected at the AGM: Mr. Liu Guoliang (CHN), Mr. Paul Calle (ECU), HRH Princess Zeina Rashid (JOR), Mr. Wahid Oshodi (NGR), Ms. Beatrice Romanescu (ROM), Professor Veli Ozan Cakir (TUR) and Ms. Virginia Sung (USA).
ITTF-Oceania congratulates all elected officials and wishes them well for their four-year term. ITTF-Oceania also congratulates the ITTF Member Associations, whose voting ensures strong gender diversity, sound geographic representation and that advancing table tennis globally will be the priority as the sport moves forward.
ITTF-Oceania acknowledges and thanks Mr. Graham Symons (Australia) who served as an ITTF Executive Vice President for the 2021-2025 period and did not seek re-election for 2025-2029. Graham has been a strong contributor to the ITTF Executive Board and also performed the role of Chair of the 2025 ITTF AGM very well under trying circumstances.
Following completion of the ITTF Executive Vice President elections, positions on the ITTF Council and ITTF Permanent Committees were ratified, with congratulations offered to the following Oceania people who will serve:
ITTF Council: Dr. Sarah Sandley (AUS), Ms. Carolyn Li (FIJ), Mr. James Ji Jr. (GUM)
ITTF Permanent Committees: Mr. David Jackson (NZL, Rules Committee), Ms. Jan Fitzgerald (AUS, Sustainability Committee).
ITTF-Oceania looks forward to working closely with all elected officials and playing our role as ITTF heads into its 2026 centenary year and beyond.
