Tonga have confirmed that women’s World Bowls champion of champions singles holder Milika Nathan will be their representative for the 2025 event.
Can Nathan make history by becoming the first player since the competition began in 2003 to retain one of the most sought-after world titles?
It should be noted that New Zealand’s legendary Jo Edwards has won the event twice – in 2011 and 2018.
USA’s Anne Nunes who was winner in 2023 came close 12 months ago in Auckland when she was runner-up to Nathan.
The champion of champions takes place at cluBarham, New South Wales, Australia, September 20-25.
